Over the past few years, there has been a significant rise in operational expenses comprising of rental, staffing, utilities, raw materials and film hire. We have tried our best to absorb these rise in costs but it has become challenging for us to continue to do so. To make cinema-going still accessible to all patrons, we will continue to run relevant promotions, including offering group packages such as our “2’s Value Pack” and “Student’s Deal" which provide preferential rates for our patrons.

What are the film rating classifications?
G : General.
PG : Parental Guidance.
PG13 : Suitable for persons aged 13 and above but parental guidance is advised for children below 13.
NC16 : Not for Children below 16 years of age.
M18 : Mature audiences aged 18 years and above only.
R21 : Restricted to audiences aged 21 years and above only.

Accordance with the Singapore law, Filmgarde Cineplex is required to verify the age of our customers and to refuse admission to anyone who is below the minimum age required by the relevant classification. Please kindly check the film rating classification prior to purchase of your tickets.
Do all films come with subtitles?
Not all films are subtitled. Please approach our Box Office staff for more information on which films have subtitles.
What are Filmgarde Cineplex’s House Rules?
No camera, laser lights, recording equipment and any sharp objects/weapons will be allowed in the cinemas.

There is strictly no recording within the cinemas. Individuals found to be conducting unauthorized recording shall be removed from the cinemas and handed to the relevant government authorities for prosecution.

All mobile phones must be switched to silent mode when in the cinemas.

There is strictly no consumption of externally purchased food and drinks in the cinema. Unauthorized food and drinks shall be removed from the cinemas promptly.

There is strictly no smoking within the cinemas.

Entry to the cinemas is only allowed with a valid movie ticket. Children above the height of 90cm (0.9m) require an admission ticket.

Valid photo ID must be presented for verification of admission for rated films. FilmGarde Cineplex reserves the right to reject entry to the cinemas without valid photo identification.
Do I need to purchase a ticket for my child?
Yes, as long as your child is above the height of 90cm (0.9m), he / she will require a movie ticket. Children below the above mentioned height can enter for free, but will not be entitled to their own seat.
Are your Cineplexes wheelchair-friendly?
All our cinemas have full wheelchair accessibility. Please approach our Box Office staff for further assistance.

Where can I purchase my tickets?
Customers are advised to purchase Filmgarde movie tickets only from our official Filmgarde Cineplex website at www.fgcineplex.com.sg or directly from our Cinema Box Office.

Filmgarde Cineplex has not licensed and/or authorised and/or allowed any third party platforms or Apps to sell tickets on behalf of Filmgarde Cineplex. As such, customers are strongly advised not to make any ticket purchase from such third party platforms or Apps.

Filmgarde Cineplex will not be responsible for any claims, exchanges, refunds, losses arising from any purchase of movie tickets from such unauthorised channels/platforms.
How soon will the movie session timings be available?
The new movie week begins every Thursday and ends the following Wednesday. Session timings will be updated on Wednesday, before the start of every new movie week.

Please note that Filmgarde Cineplex does not provide its movie schedules to any third party websites.
How many days in advance can I book my tickets?
By Wednesday, you should be able to purchase tickets for the forthcoming movie week. In exceptional circumstances, such as a major release, more advance booking will be made available.
What mode of payment does the Box Office accept?
The Box Office accepts payment in cash or credit card (VISA and Mastercard).
What forms of payment do you accept?
We currently accept VISA and Mastercard for online bookings.
Are there any extra charges for Online Booking?
There is a non-refundable booking fee of S$1.50 per confirmed transaction.
Can I select seats?
Yes. You may select your seats online via your online booking or at our Box Office. Seat selection is subject to availability and we strongly recommend that you book your movie tickets as early as possible.
How do I collect my tickets?
You can collect your tickets at the Box Office of your selected Cineplex as soon as your online transaction is confirmed. For security reasons, the cardholder must collect the tickets personally and is required to produce the same credit card used for the online booking.

Please be advised to collect your tickets at least 30 minutes before the movie begins.
Will I be charged if I do not collect my tickets?
You will be charged once the transaction is confirmed.
Can I cancel my booking and request for a refund?
No cancellations, exchanges, or refunds will not be allowed once the order is confirmed, and paid for by the customer.
What can I expect when watching a 3D movie?
3D technology enhances the illusion of depth perception, making visuals “come alive” on the screen. Be prepared to be transported into the magical movie world of stunning effects!
Are the 3D glasses free-sized?
Yes, the 3D glasses are a one-size-fits-all design.
What should I do if I feel nauseous / ill?
Patrons who feel ill should remove their 3D glasses and close their eyes as this helps to alleviate the queasy feeling. If the problem persists, please leave the hall and approach the usher stationed outside the hall for assistance.
