Happiness Film Festival 2021

Filmgarde is proud to be the venue partner for Happiness Film Festival 2021! 

The theme of this year's festival is “An Inclusive Journey Towards Happiness”, which shifts the focus of the discussions to vulnerable and marginalized groups. It explores the issues faced by these groups through six international films, each paired with a local short film and followed by a dialogue with community leaders working on the ground. The pandemic has drastically impacted many of these groups, both economically and mentally. The dialogues will focus on how we as a society can support these groups, and also to understand what happiness means in other perspectives.

Happiness Film Festival 2021 opens 19 March to 28 March 2021 at Filmgarde Bugis+.
